  • Maui Field Technician

    Hawaiʻi Land Trust (HILT) is seeking a Field Technician to join its Maui-based team. The position’s primary responsibility will be habitat restoration to help fulfill HILT’s strategic goals and objectives for Waiheʻe Coastal Dunes & Wetlands Refuge and Nuʻu Refuge. This includes preserving and enhancing the natural, cultural, and community value of the sites and providing opportunities for the community to connect and develop kuleana for Waiheʻe and Nuʻu through education, service, and recreation. The position will also be tasked with helping at other HILT sites and on other projects, as needed. This position reports to HILTʻs Director of ʻĀina Stewardship and on-site ʻāina steward and educators.

  • Financial Controller

    The Controller is a key leadership position responsible for managing all aspects of Hawaiʻi Land Trust's (HILT) financial operations. This role ensures sound financial management, compliance with accounting standards, and supports strategic decision-making. The Controller will oversee accounting, budgeting, audit, financial reporting, investments, and financial policy development. As a member of the senior leadership team, the Controller works closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and other senior staff to ensure the financial health and sustainability of the organization.
