School Visits
HILT is here to support your curriculum with our team of experienced educators who will work with you to create meaningful and engaging learning opportunities for your students that transition from in the classroom to our preserves! Contact the following HILT educators directly to coordinate an in-class visit, a virtual field trip, and/or a Zoom lesson with a HILT educator. Hawaiʻi Land Trust has educators on most islands so you can connect your students virtually to lands across Hawaiʻi. For example, a classroom on Kauaʻi could do a virtual tour with Denby at Waiheʻe Refuge on Maui one week, visit Kāhili Beach Preserve on Kauaʻi in person with Kanānā the next week, and have an in-classroom lesson via video meeting taught by Mamo at Maunawila Heiau on Oʻahu. We look forward to planning with you!
